Heroic efforts
Readers, I have a confession to make: I'm developing an addiction to network TV.
I used to be one of those people who could truthfully say they only watch one or two shows a week. Even when I briefly had cable I rarely watched more than ER, Lost and Animal Cops. But now, in the space of but a few months, I've acquired a habit that may be borderline troubling.
As you all know, I'm way into Battlestar Galactica. That's nothing to be ashamed of in and of itself (no it is NOT, doubters!), for it is one of the finest shows of all time. But now I find myself scheduling time for a host of other programs. I blame ABC.com and iTunes.
In addition to ER, Lost and BSG, I now make it a point to view Grey's Anatomy (guilty pleasure, emphasis on pleasure), Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives and The Office. And tonight I followed several friends' advice and downloaded the season premiere of Heroes. Holy hell was it good. So I'll obviously have to find time for this one, as well. Add to that The Shield, the first season of which I rapidly, and rabidly, consumed in one week thanks to Gary's generous lending of his DVDs, and I do believe I'm booked solid. How did this happen to me?!?
But seriously, BSG? If you aren't watching it already, please do yourself a favor and start getting caught up. It's worth it. As are Ugly Betty, The Shield and The Office. And probably Heroes. And ER. And ... crap, I'm fraked.
