Update

The Bulgarians* are vacuuming and singing along to the Beach Boys. Whatever doubts I had that they're on drugs have disappeared.

*Fun note: I knew a couple of Bulgarians in college, a brother and sister. The sister played piano and didn't appear to like me too much. Then again, she didn't appear to like anyone much. The brother was in architecture school. He taught me a few phrases, which I found out I'd forgotten the other night.
