Between Barack and a hard place

I'd like to know who actually cares whether Barack Obama did drugs in college. Anyone? Anyone?

Clearly this isn't an objective piece, but whatever. Maybe -- and I know I'm not the only person to consider this, but it's the first time I've written about it, so SUCK IT, TREBEK -- that's the reason more people are getting their news from blogs instead of newspapers. It's hard to be dispassionate without being boring, and readers want a sense that the writer cares about the subject. If the writer doesn't seem engaged, how can we expect the reader to be?
