WFAA-TV meteorologist Greg Fields said the cold front would hit North Texas after midnight, and temperatures would fall throughout the day today, bringing them more in line with the norm.

“We’ll be in the upper 60s in the morning, but by midafternoon we’ll fall to the 50s and then reach overnight lows in the upper 30s,” Mr. Fields said.
