Spring break by the numbers
Here's a partial recap of my week of blissful freedom:
- Miles walked: 15-20
- Parks visited: 2
- Friendly Oklahomans met, excluding friends and family: 3 (two on my trip to the Arbuckles and one at a gas station in Arlington, Texas)
- Seal rallies attended: 1
- Minutes spent fretting about work: roughly 30 (a vast improvement, by the way)
- Pieces of beef jerky consumed: 0
- Alcoholic beverages consumed: countless
- Books read: 0, sadly enough
- Dinners with ex-boyfriends: 2
- Closets cleaned and reorganized: 1
- Acoustic versions of the Human League's "Don't You Want Me" sung: 1
- Abortive attempts at cooking with tofu: 4
- Professional actors met: 1
- Line graphs created: 1
- Hugs from strangers: 1
- Bowling games lost: 2
- Spirit-rejuvenating conversations with kick-ass long-lost friends: 2
All in all, it's been a damned good week.
